Takeo Konno

After graduating from Tokyo University Takeo Konno served briefly as instructor at Tokyo Physics College and then at Hosei University till he joined the editorial staff of Yomiuri Shimbun as a leader writer. Later entering politics was elected to House of Representatives on a Communist Party ticket (1949).
