He graduated from Law Department of Tokyo University.
Career
Tanaka Yutaka became employee of Finance Ministry (1923). Served successively as director of Tax Office at Oita, Osaka and Tokyo, bank inspector, administrator of Japan Hypothec Bank, chief of National Tax Section and director of Tax Administration Bureau, chief of Economic and Tax Bureaus, vice-minister of Finance and vice-president of Japan Hypothec Bank (1945).
Retired from government service (1946) and began practicing law. Was also president of Takara Brewing Company and chief director of Public Finance Association.
