智光 結城
Tomomitsu Yuki was born in 1168 in Japan. He was the son of Masamitsu Koyama. His mother was wet-nurse to Yoritomo Minamoto.
Tomomitsu Yuki entered the services of Yoritomo (1180) and distinguished himself at the battle fought at Mount Atsugashi (1189). Later he entered Kyoto together with Yoritomo and mediated the dispute between the soldiers of Yoritomo and the priests at Todaiji Temple (1195). After Yoritomo's death he decided to become a priest, but Kagetoki Kajiwara prevented this by carrying false tales about him to Shogun Yoriie Minamoto. The truth, however, came out and Yuki became still more powerful in the Shogunate. He eventually entered a monastery under the name of Nichia.
