After graduating from Keio University with a degree in law (1913) remained as assistant professor and made a special study of the economy of China and political history. Studied in China and France for two years (1917-1919).
Career
Upon return rejoined his alma mater as professor, and was dean of its Faculty of Law (1942-1946). Among his works are "Studies on the Political Structure of China," "Currency System of China" and "History of Chinese Politics".
