Shen Tsunn-han graduated from Peking Government College of Agriculture in 1918. Next he received M.S.A. degree (Master of Science) from State University of Georgia located in the U.S.A. in 1924 and Ph.D. degree (Doctor of Philosophy) from New York State College of Agriculture and Forestry of Cornell University in 1927.
Shen Tsun-han was a Research Fellow of International Education Board of Rockefeller Foundation from 1926 to 1927. Also he was a member of Sigma Xi, located at Cornell. Shen Tsunn-han was a professor of Plant Breeding at University of Nanking in 1927 and Chief Technician at National Agricultural Research Bureau of Ministry of Industry from 1934.
Shen Tsunn-han was appointed by Chinese Government as delegate to Pan-Pacific Science Congresses in 1926, 1929, and 1933 years. He made an official visit to England and Europe to study agricultural improvement in summer of 1933. Next, he was a member of several Government committees on agriculture since 1928.
Shen Tsunn-han was an author of over thirty technical papers nublished in research journals of United States, Canada, and China.
