Director of the National Theatre (1981-1984), director (1984-1985) of the Vorobievsky District House of Culture. Since 1985, the head of the culture department of the Vorobyovskiy district administration. With the direct participation of Kozlov were created: folk group "Vereya" (the initial name "Patterns", 1981), Center for Art Crafts (1991), Lomovsky Natural Landscape Park (2003). Initiator (1992) of the All-Russian festival “Song Russia, Artisan Russia” in Vorobyevka village (in 2008, held for the 8th time).
Author of scripts and productions of many creative programs, including the theatrical composition "He has not returned from the battlefield" (recognized as the best at the All-Russian festival of folk art "Victory Salute", 2005), concert programs for regional competitions "Address of childhood - Voronezh region" (received Grand Prix, 2008), "The Price of Victory" (awarded with a diploma, 2009).
