In 1945 Vera Mikhailovna Protorchina graduated from the historical department of the Faculty of History and Philology of the Voronezh State University.
Career
Vera Ptotorchina was a lecturer of the Department of History of the USSR at the Voronezh State Pedagogical Institute (1949-1955), senior lecturer (1955-1961), associate professor (1961-1988) of the Department of History of the USSR of the pre-Soviet period at the Voronezh State University. Vera Mikhailovna participated in the preparation of the 1st Regional Conference of Local Lore (1954).
Collection of documents: "Cultural construction in the Voronezh province (1918-1928)" (Voronezh, 1965; together with M.G. Chechuro), "Voronezh region in the XVIII century" (Voronezh, 1980). Author of about 50 articles on the history of the Voronezh region of the XVIII century, memories: "My student years" (Voronezh, 2000), "My pre-war childhood" (Voronezh, 2001).
