In 1965, Victor Antonovich Polyakov graduated from the Moscow Technological Institute of Food Industry (currently: Moscow State University of Food Production). In 1999, Victor Antonovich became a professor, in 2003 - a doctor of technical sciences, in 2007 - an academic of RASKHN, in 2013 - an academic of RAS (2013).
From 1968 to 1969, Victor Antonovich Polyakov worked as a senior researcher. From 1969 to 1972, he served as the head of the sector of the All-Russian Research Institute of Beer and Soft Drink Industries. From 1972 to 1977, he was an associate professor at the Moscow Technological Institute of Food Industry (currently: Moscow State University of Food Production). From 1977 to 1996, he served as deputy director-general of the Scientific and Production Association of Drinks and Mineral Waters. In 1996, he became a director of the All-Russian Research Institute of Food Biotechnology in Moscow. He published more than 200 scientific works, including more than 20 books and brochures, and received about 100 patents for inventions.
Victor Antonovich Polyakov was an outstanding Russian scientist. He participated in the creation of new technologies for the production of high-fermentative malts for brewing; production of alcohol, food, and feed additives, integrated waste-free technology for processing grain into alcohol and feed products. He received about 100 patents for his inventions.
