Vladimir Gryznov graduated from the chemical faculty of the Moscow state University of M.V. Lomonosov in 1944, majoring in physical chemistry.
Vladimir Gryznov worked at Moscow State University (1944-1962). Now Vladimir Gryznov is working at the University of Friendship of Nations named after Patrice Lumumba (now it is the University of Friendship Nations of Russia) (since 1962) and also in the Institute of petrochemical synthesis named after A.V. Topchieva of the Russian Academy of Sciences (since 1964).
Vladimir Gryznov discovered the properties of metal catalysts in the state of the two-dimensional pair (together with V.I. Simulium and V.D. Yagodovskii, priority 16.09.1960, diploma no.312) and the phenomenon of conjugation reactions on membrane catalysts (jointly with V.S. Smirnov, L.K. Ivanova and A.P. Mishchenko, priority 12.06.1964, diploma № 97).
Author of a large number of scientific publications, including monographs: "Catalysis by precious metals. Dynamic features" (jointly with N. V. Nut). Vladimir Gryznov created - "Method of carrying out chemical processes with the removal and the addition of hydrogen".
