Vladimir Borisovich Shatrov was born on December 23, 1954.
Having received his first work experience and skills as an engineer-technologist, in 1980 Vladimir Borisovich continued his work at Perm Chemical Equipment Plant "Iskra", consistently occupying positions from the head of the KTB shop to the shop manager. In 1989, following the results of the competition, he was appointed chief technologist of the design bureau of the engineering firm NGO Iskra. In 1995 he became chief engineer, in 2002 - first deputy general director for production, and in October 2012 - general director, chairman of the Board of OAO NPO Iskra, a member of the Board of Directors of industrial enterprises under the governor of Perm Krai. Under his direct leadership, all the main decisions were taken to technically re-equip the production capacities of the Iskra NGO, primarily to ensure the production of solid fuel rocket engines, to create a cooperation of producers of gas compressor units, which enabled the company to successfully execute the state defense order and supply products for fuel-energy complex.
He helped establish effective business contacts with leading firms in the United States, Japan, Britain, France and Germany. On his initiative, the enterprise began introducing the technologies of "lean manufacturing".
During 37 years of work in the rocket and space industry, Vladimir Borisovich Shatrov made a significant contribution to the creation of solid-propellant rocket engines for the Strategic Missile Forces and the Navy. With his direct participation, a number of fundamentally important scientific, technical and organizational tasks related to the development of high-performance rocket engines for the Molodyts, Topol-M, Yars, Typhoon, Bark, Bulava, Granite, Vulcan, Onyx, Yakhont, and others.
Vladimir Borisovich Shatrov made a great contribution to the development and introduction of conversion programs in the production of products for the fuel and energy complex: gas pumping units, gas turbine power plants and centrifugal superchargers of the Ural series.
Since 2014, on the initiative of the General Director of OAO NPO Iskra, Vladimir Borisovich Shatrov has been constructing a dwelling house, in which 130 employees will receive the apartment.
Vladimir Borisovich Shatrov is the author of 44 inventions and 21 scientific and technical articles.
