Vladimir Dynin was born on July 14, 1964 in Lipetsk.
He graduated from the Faculty of History of the Voronezh State University (1986).
He worked as a teacher in schools of villages Pravaya Khava (1986-1988), Pervaya Vasilyevka (1988-1989) of the Verkhnekhavsky district, Voronezh region. Then was a guide, researcher at the Voronezh Regional Museum of Local History (1990-1996), also worked as senior lecturer (since 1996), associate professor (since 2002) of the Department of History of the Middle Ages and Foreign Slavic peoples of the Voronezh State University.
The author of the books: "When the Fern Blooms ... Folk Beliefs and Rites of the South Russian Peasantry of the XIX - XX Centuries" (Voronezh, 1999), "Introduction to Ethnology" (Voronezh, 2001), "People's Beliefs of the Russian European Part of Russia XIX-XX centuries" (Voronezh, 2004).
