Vladimir Ivanovich finished Realschule in Odessa in 1918 and Drama Studio in Kiev in 1923.
Vladimir Ivanovich worked in the Lesya Ukrainka National Academic Theater of Russian Drama during 1921-1925. Then he worked at theaters in Kharkiv, including the troupe of N.N. Sinelnikov (1925-1929), and Kursk theaters in 1929-1933. Since 1933 Vladimir Ivanovich was an artist of the Voronezh Drama Theater.
During the Great Patriotic War he directed the front-line variety theater and miniatures. During 1963-1973 he was the chairman of the Voronezh branch of the All-Russian Theatrical Society.
Vladimir Ivanovich died on July 20, 1978 in Voronezh, Russian Federation.
