In 1906-1907 Vladymir studied in Ekaterinoslavskiy non-classical secondary school. After that enrolled to Vetrogradov Hight School in Ekaterinoslavl.
Vladymir Alekseevich Lepko debuted as an actor and decorator at Samara, Vyatka theatres. He was the director at public education department of Voronezh Zheleznodorozhnikov Theatre (1920-1921). As he practiced at the Nezhinskoaya and Boiko ballet studio, he managed to act out several plays. In 1923-1928, Vladymir Alekseevich served as an actor, decorator, director in the "Krivoe zerkalo" theatre (back then Leningrad). The artist of Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg) (1929-1930) and Moscow (1930-1935) music halls. Since 1936 he had served as an actor of Moscow Theatre of Satire.
