Vladimir Fedorovich was at first lecturer, then director of the Voronezh Regional Cultural and Educational School (1968-1987) in the city of Bobrov, Voronezh Region. In 1987, Kapustyak moved to the village of Anna. There he was a director, teacher of the Children's Art School, head of the Russian folk orchestra of the district House of Culture. Member of the Presidium of the Voronezh Branch of the All-Russian Musical Society in 1984.
