Hsu W. Imin received his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. John's University, Shanghai in 1916 and Doctor of Medicine from the same university in 1919. He obtained his Master of Medical Science degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1922.
Mr. Hsu worked as an associate professor of urology at St. John's University as well as genito-urinary surgeon at St. Luke's Hospital from 1922 to 1930. He also was a visiting urologist to the Red Cross Hospital in Shanghai from 1922 to 1925 and consulting urologist to the Orthopedic Hospital in Shanghai in 1928-1930. Hsu W. Imin served as medical officer at Chinan University from 1927 to 1928. He also worked as a professor of urology, St. John's University, 1934.
