Qualified as flight surgeon, United States Army, 1919, airplane pilot, 1920. Served in Hawaii, 1937-1949. Commanded Stark General Hospital, Charleston, South Carolina., 1942-1945.
Commanding general Valley Forge General Hospital, Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, 1945-1946, retired 1946. Received citation from governor of South Carolina. for war work. Cited by commanding general Third Service Command for work performed at Valley Forge General Hospital, 1945.
Received Legion of Merit, Army Commendation Ribbon (with oak leaf cluster).
