Achievements After his death of a heart attack in 1926, the Salondes Independants arranged a retrospective exhibition of his works, and the painter’s widow set up a gallery in his memory, which existed until World War The second. A number of exhibitions were devoted to his memory in Paris, London, and New York. In 2002 the painter’s personal exhibition took place at the National Arts Museum in Warsaw. A number of monographs were devoted to his works, written by such famous art critics as M. Gauthier, A.Salmon, E.Teriade.
