Career
Yoshizo Shimamura entered Kanebo Spinning Company (1918), transferred to Nitto Spinning Company (1928), supervisor (1934) and director (1937).
He served successively as director of Rayon and Silk Control Association, president of Japan Small Muslin Industry Company and Japan Needle Manufacturing Industry Association and executive director of Nitto Spinning Company. Appointed president of Kokusaku Pulp Industry Company (1948) and president of Pulp Industry Association. Made inspection tour of Europe and America (1951).
