Yuliy Veniaminovich graduated from the Medical Faculty of Kazan University (1899).
Yuliy Veniaminovich worked as assistant of the "All Mourners" Psychiatric Hospital in St. Petersburg (1900-1902). At the same time he trained at the Clinic of Mental Illness with Professor V.M. Bekhtereva. During the 1902-1906 Yuliy Veniaminovich was a physician of the Odessa City Mental Hospital. In the years 1906-1910 he was a physician of psychiatric ward of the Zemsky Hospital in Orenburg, Moscow District Hospital during the 1910-1911. In 1904 Yuliy Veniaminovichtried to enter the service in the Voronezh provincial district hospital. In February - August 1912, he was the intern at a psychiatric hospital in the village of Orlovka, Voronezh district, Voronezh province. Later he worked in St. Petersburg as a Professor of Psychiatry, Samara State University (1925).
Author of the book "To the psychology of Russian literary movements during the era of the 1860–1890s" (Orenburg, 1908), editor of the collection "Children's Psychology and Anthropology" (Samara, 1925; issue 1-2), "Questions of Psychiatry" (Samara, 1925).
