Background
Akamatsu Ujinori was born in 1330. He was the fourth son of Norimura Aka-matsu, he pledged loyalty to the South Dynasty.

Career
Together with Takatoshi Fujiwara, he fought against the forces of Shogun Yoshiakira Ashikaga, son of Takauji, who supported the North Dynasty. Although he surrendered to the Ashikagas he again became a supporter of the South Dynasty.
He killed himself in Harima Province (Hyogo Prefecture).
