He graduated from Tokyo University in 1926.
Career
After graduation he became a professor at Tokyo University in 1944 after serving with the Ministry of Welfare's sanitary experimentation station as an engineer. He won a doctorate in 1931. He belonged to the Japan Bacteriologists' Society, Japan Chemical Therapy Associations.
