Aleksey Ivanovich graduated from the secondary technical department of the Voronezh Technological Institute (now Voronezh State Technical Universit) in 1964 and the chemical department of the Voronezh State University in 1970.
Aleksey Ivanovich worked as an engineer, senior engineer of the problem laboratory of the chemistry of macromolecular compounds, head of the department of the Scientific Research Institute of Chemistry. He worked as an associate professor of the department of macromolecular compounds and colloids since 1970, became the dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy in 1997 and head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology of Finished Medicines of Voronezh State University in 1998.
