Member, Executive Committee, Minsk City Soviet and chairman, Minsk City Duma. During 1917 October Revol supported All-Russian Executive Committee of Railroad Union’s demand for a “united socialist government” ranging from populist socialists to Bolsheviks. 1919, after German revol, supported socialist revol and Soviet rule.
1920 member, Belorussian Military Revol Committee. 1921, after Bund’s incorporation in the Russian Communist Party (Bolsheviks), Presidium member, Central Executive Committee. Deputy chairman, Belorussian Council of People's Commissar.
Member, Centr Bureau, Communist Party Belorussian. Then member and Bureau member, Central Committee Kir Oblast Party Committee. 1922 chairman, Kir Labor and Defense Council.
From 1923 Collegium member, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics People's Commissariat of Finance. Simultaneously member, Committee for the Allotment of Land to Jews, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Central Executive Committee. Then exec admin and economics work.
