Applied Science Deputy of King’s College, London. Was articled as a pupil to W. H. Barlow, Commander of Order of Leopold, Consulting Engineer to the Midland Rly., and for a time followed the profession of a Civil Engineer. Relinquishing this, entered as an art student for tliree years at the Slade Schools, London University, under Professor Legros, going later to Paris for further study.
Has been a continuous exhibitor at the Grosvenor Gallery from its commencement and afterwards at the New Gallery. Also at the Royal Academy Institute, Munich, Melbourne, Sydney, etc. Has written and illustrated articles in the Pall Mall Gazette and Illustrated Magazines, and having added the profession of architecture to that of painting, is designing country houses, including houses at Beer, Budleigh Salterton, Crewkerne, Exmouth, Frimley and London, etc. Artist.
