Evgeny Alexandrovich Belov was born on January 20, 1826, in Novgorod, Russian Federation.
Evgeny Alexandrovich Belov studied at the Nizhny Novgorod gymnasium (1842), then at the Kazan University, where he graduated in 1849 as a full student of the first (historical and philological) Department of the faculty of philosophy.
In June 1850, Evgeny Alexandrovich entered the service as a junior geography teacher at the Penza Noble Institute. On July 22, 1852, he was appointed to the same position at the Saratov gymnasium.
In addition, Evgeny Alexandrovich was a teacher of geography and history at the Saratov Institute of Noble Maidens, until 1864; there he was also an inspector of classes for some time. In 1864, Evgeny Alexandrovich joined the service in Saint Petersburg, where his teaching activities were mainly concentrated in the Imperial Alexander Lyceum.
