Evgeny Borisovich Trembovelsky was born on August 5, 1939, in Alma-Ata, Almaty City, Kazakhstan.
Evgeny Borisovich graduated from a seven-year music school (piano class) and a ten-year comprehensive school, studied for one year at the music-theoretical department of the special music school for 11 years named after Kulyash Baiseitova. Having completed the 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th-grade programs this year and has successfully passed the final exams as an external student, he continued his studies at the Alma-Ata Conservatory named after Kurmangazy. He graduated from the historical and theoretical faculty of the Alma-Ata Conservatory named after Kurmangazy.
Evgeny Borisovich was a lecturer at the School of Music (Karaganda, 1962-1964), senior lecturer, associate professor, head of the department of the Alma-Ata Conservatory (1964-1977). he has been aa associate professor (since 1977), head of the Department of Science (since 1979), head of the Department of Theory and History of Music (since 1981) of the Voronezh State Institute of Arts.
He has been a chairman of the Voronezh Organization of the Union of Composers (since 1993). Participant and organizer of many international, all-Union, and all-Russian scientific conferences, seminars, music festivals, plenums. Chairman of the organizing committees, a member of the jury of various creative competitions.
