In 1965 Vladimir Nikolaevich graduated from the National Orchestral Department of Yakutsk Music School. In 1978 he finished his studying at Novosibirsk Conservatory.
In 1950-1953 Vladimir Nikolaevich worked as the music director of the ensemble. In 1954-1962 he was appointed the head of the orchestra of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Siberian Military District in Novosibirsk. In 1962-1965 Vladimir Nikolaevich worked as a teacher in the music school in Yakutsk. In 1966-1967 he worked as a teacher in the music school in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Since 1966 Vladimir Nikolaevich was a soloist, a director at the Sakhalin Regional Philharmonic. In 1967-1986 he was an artistic director at the Sakhalin folk choir. In 1987-1988 he was the director at the Opera and Ballet Theater. In 1988-1989 Vladimir Nikolaevich was the Chairman at Voronezh Organization of the Union of Composers. In 1989-1993 he was the Vice-Chairman at Voronezh Organization of the Union of Composers.
Vladimir Nikolaevich was the author of the symphonic poems and many works for the orchestra of folk instruments, including "Northern Rhapsody" (1989), "Concert fantasies" ( 1990, 1995) and of more than 100 vocal works of various genres for folk and children's choirs and soloists, concert pieces for various instruments.
