Career
After serving as instructor of his alma mater (from 1937), became assistant professor of Kyushu University, he was appointed professor of Tokyo University (1948). Twice made tour of China (1939 and 1943). Achieved much in researches on agricultural appliances. Writings include "The Outline of Agricultural Mechanics."
