Ethnicity: Hailey is of mixed ancestry. Her mother is a Brazilian of Italian and Portuguese descent, and her father is of English, Irish, Scottish, French, and German descent.

Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin) was born on November 22, 1996, in Tucson, Arizona, United States. She is the daughter of Stephen Baldwin and Kennya Deodato Baldwin. Eumir Deodato, a Brazilian pianist, composer, arranger, and record producer, is Hailey's maternal grandfather. Alaia Baldwin is her older sister.

Education

Hailey didn't have a typical school experience, like prom and graduation. Instead, she got her education at home.

In her early years, Hailey wanted to become a professional classic ballet dancer. However, she stopped training due to a foot injury. She performed for the Miami City Ballet before her injury.

It's also worth mentioning, that Hailey trained for about 7 years in musical theatre.

Career

Hailey started her career in modeling, when she signed with her first modeling agency, Ford Models. At the beginning of her way in the industry, she appeared in magazines, such as Tatler, Love, V and i-D. The first commercial campaign Hailey was featured in was for the clothing brand French Connection in the winter of 2014.

It was in October 2014, that Hailey walked the runway for the first time, namely for Topshop and French fashion designer Sonia Rykiel. Some time later, in December 2014, her photos appeared in Love magazine, and later, in early 2015, in American Vogue. In April of the same year, Hailey was photographed for her first magazine cover for Jalouse Magazine together with Lucky Blue Smith. The same month, she had photoshoots for covers of the Dutch edition of L'Officiel and the American edition of Wonderland Magazine. The model also appeared in editorials for Miss Vogue and W magazines.

In October 2015, Hailey walked the runway for Tommy Hilfiger and Philipp Plein, in whose spring/summer 2016 campaigns she would later be featured. During the same time, she had a photoshoot for Self Magazine and took part in a commercial for clothing brand H&M.

In March 2016, the model began her collaboration with IMG Models and soon, in May, appeared on the cover of Marie Claire. In June of the same year, Hailey modeled for Moschino and debuted in advertising for Guess.

In the summer of 2016, the model, alongside Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, was featured in the UGG footwear campaign. The year was quite productive for Hailey, as she appeared as the face of Karl Lagerfeld's limited-edition North American clothing line, entitled "Love From Paris"; was featured in editorials for Glamour Magazine and Italian Vogue; as well as walked the runway for Tommy Hilfiger, Prabal Gurung, Jeremy Scott and others during New York Fashion Week. During Milan Fashion Week, Hailey modeled for Dolce & Gabbana and, during Paris Fashion Week, she walked for Elie Saab. At the end of the year, namely in November 2016, the model appeared on the cover of the Australian edition of Harper's Bazaar and was featured in a French Elle editorial.

In 2017, Hailey Bieber, together with Jon Kortajarena, appeared on the cover of Spanish Harper's Bazaar, as well as the British edition of Elle. The March 2018 issue of US Elle also featured the model. In 2018, Hailey was made the face of the Power of Good campaign for the Shiseido-owned bareMinerals make-up brand. The following year, she became the face of Levi Jeans.

During her career, Hailey has appeared in music videos and on TV, including the television documentary Livin It: Unusual Suspects (2005), an episode of the TV show Saturday Night Live (2009), Cody Simpson's music video of the song "On My Mind" and that of Baptiste Giabiconi "Love To Love You Baby." Also, Hailey appeared as a TV host in a segment of the 2015 MTV Europe Music Awards in Milan, Italy, on October 25, 2015. Almost one year later, namely on June 19, 2016, she co-hosted, alongside Gigi Hadid, announcing a live exhibition by Shawn Mendes at the 2016 iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards in Toronto, Canada. On May 2, 2017, Hailey started hosting a TBS show Drop the Mic with rapper Method Man.

Hailey has collaborated with such brands, as The Daily Edited and Public Desire, on the promotion of their goods.
