Hidetoshi Isobe served as professor of Utsunomiya Higher Agricultural School, instructor of Kyoto and Tokyo Universities. He was appointed professor of Tokyo University (1942). During the above period, visited America and Europe to study agricultural management and agricultural land development. Attended the International Rice Conference in Burma as Japan's delegate (1950). Published a number of research articles on agricultural reformation and agricultural management and technique as well as on policy of Japan's postwar agriculture and cattle raising industry. Author of "Chart of Japan’s Agricultural Labor Distribution" and "Labor Relations in Japan’s Agricultural Industry."
