Ivan Fedorovich Vensovich

Background

Ivan was born on January 7, 1769, in Sloboda Kalach, Ostrogozhsky Uyezd, Russian Federation. He came from the clergy.

Education

He received his primary education in the Kharkov collegium. He graduated from the gymnasium at Moscow University (1987), the law school (1791), medical (1798) faculties of Moscow University.

Career

Since 1803, he read diatics at the medical faculty, since 1805 - anatomy, physiology, forensic medicine. Head of the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Forensic Medicine (since 1806), Dean of the Department of Medicine (since 1809), Moscow University.
