In 1696 Ioakim became a priest of Moscow Annunciation Cathedral. In 1712 he became a monk named Joachim. The abbot of the Trinity Selijarov Monastery of Tver Diocese, the callarer of the Chudov Monastery in Moscow, the confessor of the fleet.
