Education
He graduated from Voronezh Theological seminary in 1849 and Kiev Theological Academy in 1853.
Career
In 1853 Vladimir took monastic vows. Alongside with being teacher and inspector of several seminaries, in 1865-1883 Vladimir was chief of Altay spiritual mission and builder of Blagoveshchensk monastery in the Altai Mountains.
Vladimir studied the history of eparchy, using archive materials that he collected in county towns, monasteries and churches of the Orlov Region. He created a large manuscript together with his helpers. 38 out of 55 articles belonged to Vladimir.
