Fong Jen Kia acted as a teacher in the Foreign Language School, Peking. He was a chief secretary of the Ning-Chin Railway. Later he was appointed attache of the Chinese Legation in Paris and then attache of the Chinese Legation in Tokyo. Mr. Fong also served as a vice-consul at Kobe, Japan. Then he held the position of a Chinese Consul at Osaka.
