Kenji Tanaka graduated from Police Training Institute (1932).
Career
Kenji Tanaka served at Keihokyoku (Police Bureau) of Home Ministry. Appointed assistant police inspector of Osaka Prefecture (1927). Became chief of Tokkoka (Special Police Section) of Tokushima Prefectural Government (1941) and chief of Tokkoka of Chiba Prefectural Government.
He was purged from public post (1946) and after being depurged became director of Chiba District Public Safety Research Bureau of Public Safety Research Agency (since 1952).
