Konstantin Ilyich Egilsky

Konstantin Ilyich was a researcher at the Physics Research Institute and the Research Institute for Mathematics at Voronezh State University (1971 - 1978). He was a sports instructor at the Voronezh Naval School of DOSAAF (1978 - 1980). Since 1969 Konstantin Ilyich has been engaged in underwater sports. Since 1978 he has been a trainer, since 1987 he has been a leading traner of the Voronezh Oblast underwater orienteering team. At the same time he was a trainer of the national team of the RSFSR and the USSR, later - the Russian Federation. In 1987 - 1991, Konstantin Ilyich was the chairman of the USSR commission, and since 1991 – the commission of the Russian Federation on underwater orientation. Since 2001 he has been president of the Voronezh Regional Federation of Underwater Sports.

In 1987 - 1991, Konstantin Ilyich was the chairman of the USSR commission, and since 1991 – the commission of the Russian Federation on underwater orientation. Since 2001 he has been president of the Voronezh Regional Federation of Underwater Sports.

Achievements

Konstantin Ilyich was the multiple champion of the RSFSR, winner of all-Union competitions (1974 - 1977). He trained many competitive sportsmans, among them 6 - Honoured Masters of Sports, 15 - World-class athlete.
