In 1987, Olga Anatolievna graduated from Voronezh State Institute of Arts.
Since 1992, a teacher, since 2007, associate professor, since 2008, assistant rector for educational work of Voronezh State Academy of Arts. Olga Anatolievna is a soloist of Voronezh Regional Philharmonic, head of the vocal studio at the Center for Folk Art of the South-Eastern Railway.
The creator of the concert programs "The Seagull", "Nadezhda Obukhov", the one-man show "The City Romance" and others.
Olga Anatolievna performs with stories about the work of Russian composers on radio, in print, at concerts. Many Makeeva’s students became laureates of the All-Russian Vocalists' Competition (Tver, 2005), international student competitions of vocalists (Moscow, 2006, Volgograd, 2007, Paris, 2007).
