Marina Viktorovna studied at secondary school №73 in Voronezh. In 1985, she graduated with honors from the historical and pedagogical faculty of the Voronezh State Pedagogical University. From 1991 to 1994, she studied at the full-time postgraduate Institute of the Theory of Pedagogy and International Studies in Education in Moscow.
Marina Viktorovna was a teacher of pedagogical disciplines in pedagogical school in Barnaul in1985-1986th years. Since 1986 works at the department of theory and methods of educational work (now the department of social pedagogy). She was promoted from a laboratory worker to associate Professor (1997) and head of the Department (1996-1998, 2004).
Marina Viktorovna has actively cooperated with ''The Center for education theory'' (''Research Institute of education theory and pedagogy of the Russian Academy of education") in Moscow. She is an author of more than 100 scientific papers, including monographs: "Management of the educational system of the school: problems and solutions" (Moscow, 1999), "Socio-pedagogical conditions for the formation of socio-cultural identity of the individual" (Voronezh, 2006).
