Background
Kvasov Mikhail Ivanovich was born on October 05, 1954 in Lipetsk, Russian Federation. His father I.K. Kvasov was a theater director. In his childhood together with his parents and the theater troupe he visited various cities of the country.
Career
In the 1970s, Mikhail Ivanovich worked at various enterprises in the Komi ASSR (Vorkuta, Ukhta), Estonia (Tallinn). Worked as a professional photographer.
He collaborates mainlywith epresentars of the Moscow publishing house Kommersant in the city of Voronezh, in the regional edition of the Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
Since 1978, the participant and the prize-winner of regional, republican, All-Russian photo exhibitions. Personal exhibitions of Kvasov were held in the Voronezh Regional Art Museum named after I.N. Kramskoy ("Voronezh beauties", 1999), the Indian embassy in Moscow (1999), in Yelabuga and Kazan (Republic of Tatarstan, 2000, "On Voronezh and Voronezh residents").
Teacher of photography at the Voronezh Art School (1991-1999). Initiator of creation (October 1999; with E.A. Chaplygina) regional department of the Union of Photo Artists of Russia. The works of Kvasov are published in Russian and foreign photo albums, Voronezh presentation publications (booklets, brochures, sets of cards, calendars and other publications), are stored in photo banks of Russian news agencies.
