Mikhail Pavlovich was the irregular student at the Academy of Arts (Saint Petersburg, 1914-1917, workroom of V.E. Makovsky). Since 1914, he was a participant of exhibition activity.
Mikhail Pavlovich was a participant of the revolutionary events of 1917 and the storming of the Winter Palace in Petrograd. He worked as a chairman of the Sevastopol Association of Artists. He was a Head of the art studio (1925-1930). At the same time he was a research member of the Sevastopol Art Gallery (1927-1929), then - deputy director of the Alupka Palace Museum (1929-1932).
Also Mikhail Pavlovich was an Art editor of the publishing house "Commune" in Voronezh (1932-1934). He was one of the founders and director of the Voronezh Regional Museum of Arts (1934-1939). He painted thematic pictures and landscapes. In 1939-1958, he was a director of the Sevastopol Art Gallery. He was the Head of its evacuation to Tomsk (1941-1943).
