In the age of Empress Jingu, he conquered Shiragi, a sovereign state in Korea, capturing two castles there in 249. Those castles he gave to Kudara, another state in Korea, and Kudara became a tributary to Japan for a long time since that time.
His descendants, divided into two families of the Kamitsukenus and Shimotsukenus, prospered in the Kanto district.
