In 1925, graduated from Tokyo University.

Career

Served as instructor and assistant professor of Tokyo University, appointed professor in 1940. During the above period, rendered studies on various wind effects caused by flame and studies on fire-proof sliding doors. Helped in discovering new types of building materials in Japan. Participates in various city planning.
