Career
Meritus professor of Kyoto University. Born in Shizuoka Prefecture. Graduated from Kyoto Lmversity (1918) and from Kyushu Medical College. Became assistant professor of Kyoto University (1925); received degree (1929); became professor of Kyoto University (1936). Following retirement under age limit (1954) became instructor of Osaka Medical College. Noted for his researches on psychopathology and symptomatology.
