Candidate dissertation is written on the material of the Ukrainian dialects of the Petropavlovsk district and the Boguchar district of Voronezh region. Nikolai Semenovich was a lecturer at the University of Skopje (Macedonia, Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, 1971-1973), associate Professor of General and Slavic Linguistics, Ivanovo State University (1974-1980). Associate Nikolai Semenovich has been a professor, Professor of the Russian Language Department, Volgograd State University (since 1980).
