Otomo Sukune no-Ikenushi

Background

Otomo no-Ikenushi was born in 750, Japan.

Career

In 738, Ikenushi went to eastern provinces at the order of the Court. When Yakamochi Otomo proceeded to Etchii. Province (Toyama Prefecture), Ikenushi, as an official in that province, exchanged poems with Yakamqchi by way of greetings. He was later appointed an official in Echizen Province (Fukui Prefecture). Otomo was involved in the plot of Naramaro Tachibana to assassinate Nakamaro Fujiwara in 757.
