Petr Sergeevich Nartov

Background

Nartov Petr was born on July 24, 1926 in Sredny Ikorets, Bobrovsky district, Russian Federation.

Education

He graduated from the forest reclamation (1951) and forest mechanics (1959) faculties of the Voronezh Forestry Institute (Voronezh Forest Engineering Institute).

Career

He had been an assistant, senior lecturer since 1953, assistant professor (1955), senior researcher, professor, head of the department of the forest machine design (1969-1975), head of the department of the forestry mechanization. He was the forest machine designer.

Achievements

• Nartov Petr Sergeevich was the author of over 150 works, including books: “Disk Tillage Tools” (Voronezh, 1972); “Hydraulic drive of the forestry machines” (Voronezh, 1978; together with P.I. Popikov); "Design and calculation of the forestry machines" (Voronezh, 1980).
