Shigeteru Niwa graduated from Engineering Department, Tokyo University (1905).
Career
Shigeteru Niwa worked briefly with the Shibaura Engineering Works. Was appointed assistant professor at his alma mater (1908) and professor (1923). Retired under age limit (1942). Also served in the Agriculture and Forestry Ministry. He was a dean of the Engineering Department, Keio University.
