Shirley Shirley was born on December 10, 1934, in Des Moines, Iowa, United States. He is a daughter of Stuart Kintner, a telephone company employee, and Ellen (Barr) Kintner.

Education

Shirley graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Career

Shirley worked at the Iowa Valley Community College at the position of an instructor in nursing from 1991. From that same year she was a member of the board of trustees of Eldora Public Library.

Shirley is the author of Restoring the Tallgrass Prairie, publishing in 1994.
