During the fight between two powerful men of Oshu (north Japan), Suehisa Ando and Suenaga Fujiwara, and after the case came for settlement before the Kamakura Snogunate he took bribes from both sides, which resulted in more disorder and showed the decline of the Shogun authority. Committed suicide after Yoshisada Nitta attacked Kamakura in the Genko Incident.
