Background

Takesada Kiyohara was born in 1080. He was the son of Takenori.

Career

Takesada Kiyohara helped his father to destroy the power of Sadato Abe (1062), and later they converged on Tsunekiyo Fujiwara, an ally of Sadatd’s, and defeated him, too.

Connections

Tsunekiyo was killed in the battle and Takesada married his widow and adopted her son Kiyohira. She later bore him a son who came to be known as Lehira.
